this is a picture?!!? I thought you had rearranged stuff, but when I went into full view I could see how real it was. How surreal! Awesome work here.
:icondivineerror:
very very nice, i like the contrast and color
:iconlylianthe:
wicked :D I almost didn't recognise this...took a while to register lol :P wow. turns out great! I love the shapes and the structures the lighting is great on the metallic surface and the duotone does some wonders in itself :)

My candle burns at both ends
It will not last the night
But ah my foes and oh my friends
It gives a lovely light
:iconlychgate:
What a surreal view this is. Where was it taken, and what are the metal things?

these are some odd statues next to the yarra river, opposite Southbank in Melbourne. They all have a maritime kinda feel to them. like the statues on the front of old ships

Duotone my arse :P

The harsh grain on this shot is pretty damn cool, really adds a metallic kind of effect to combine in with the cast figures running from foreground to background. Also, makes the clouds alot more apparent and alot more balanced with the rest of the shot. Nice work on that. :)

Focus is great, the fuller F.O.F. gives a nice comparitive join from metal to cloud. :)

Sweet shot bro!

cheers bro :D the grain isn't meant to be so sloppy, but yeah the high compression to keep the filesize to "human levels" really bunched it up, which is a bit of a shame... But yeah its still works overall and doesn't take away too much from the overall aesthetic :D

I actually think the grain adds to it to be honest. It gives a nice industrial kind of feeling to it, like it's really coarsly man-made or something, just as the statues themselves are :)

Cheers to compression, and cheers to after-effects! :D

I think its just the slight loss of definition on the foreground statue that was the only thing that the compression killed... esp the way the grain melded with the grime on the top portion of it... (it was my fav part) :P
